Dan Kitrosser, Playwright

​

Dan Kitrosser is a playwright, screenwriter and storyteller living in Manhattan. His plays include Dead Special Crabs (The Barrow Group Theatre); Tar Baby (w/ Desiree Burch at the DR2), The Old Forever New Things (New School for Drama) andThe Mumblings (FringeNYC 2013; Finalist 2011 Lark Playwrights Week).  The Mumblings is in development for series by Fox Television Studios.  He is a member of TerraNova Collective’s 2014-15 Groundbreakers Playwrights Group and he was a fellow at the 2014 Sundance Screenwriter’s Lab for his forthcoming screenplay adaption of Justin Torres’ We the Animals, which he wrote with director Jeremiah Zagar.  Dan received his MFA in playwriting from the New School for Drama where he was a Harold and Mimi Steinberg Fellow.  Dan earned an MFA in Playwriting from The New School for Drama.

Cate DiGirolamo, Lighting Designer

Cate is a Lighting Designer and Production/Stage Manager who has worked for Gate Theatre Notting Hill, Royal Court Theatre, Almeida Theatre, Hightide Festival Theatre, and Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London, and more recently CAP21 and UglyRhino Productions in New York. She received her B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. For Wide Eyed she has designed ligths for the award winning production of ANIMALS by Sam Byron and DEAD SPECIAL CRABS by Dan Kitrosser, both directed by Kristin Skye Hoffmann. 
 

J Alexander Diaz, Sound Designer

J Alexander is a sound artist originally from Colorado and now based out of Brooklyn, NY. His work encompasses sound for theatre, dance, and the concert stage. In the past year J has collaborated with theatre and dance companies in Colorado, Indiana, New York City, and Ghana, Africa. Currently, J is working with the Accra Theatre Workshop on a new musical, several dance pieces and sound installations. Recent projects in NYC include working with the RadioTheatre, the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Wide Eyed Productions and volunteering with the 52nd Street Project. Most recently he designed sound for DEAD SPECIAL CRABS by Dan Kitrosser.
