A series of original staged readings presented at The Drama League in Manhattan. The readings were 20 minute selections of original works by local NYC playwrights. 3 were presented each evening and an audience vote determined the semi-finalists. Those texts were read in full and will be given full staged readings in November 2014 at TBG Theatre located at 312 W 36th St, NYC 10018. $10 cover at the door.

Wide Eyed Productions hosted our second installment of the WINKS Reading Series, but this time with a twist! We focused exclusively on original plays by local NYC playwrights featuring the Seven Deadly Sins. Each month you'll see a twenty-minute segment from each play, and then vote on your favorite. The winner will be invited to submit the full text to be considered as a Finalists. The Finalists will be given a staged reading during the run of our mainstage production of Dead Special Crabs in November 2014. The winner from those three evenings will be determined by a combination of audience support and a vote from the Wide Eyed Board and begin workshopping toward a full production.
The events will be held at 7:30pm at
The Drama League Theater
